The Speaker’s Theater is the heart of the Fly Fishing Rendezvous. This is the place where local anglers can gather every hour throughout the show and soak up knowledge from the best of the Rocky Mountains’ guides, authors, and fly geeks. For our vendors and guest speakers, this is your platform to highlight your expertise and hold the undivided attention of hundreds of potential clients.
Presentations should last between 30-45 minutes
All presentations must include a Powerpoint, video, or demonstration to help illustrate the topic being presented.
Based on participant exit surveys from previous Rendezvous, participants are most interested in hearing topics about:
Preference will be given to topics focused on equipping the participants for greater success on the water or highlighting specific waters within the region, but we are open to whatever you are interested in sharing. Speaker Bios, links to your website, and talk descriptions will be listed on the Speakers Page of the Fly Fishing Rendezvous website.
Located outside the Speaker’s Theater will be our Presenter’s Table where speakers can field questions about their talks, sign books, and sell products. The Presenter’s Table will be located in a Fly Fishing Bookstore hosted by the Tattered Cover (a Denver-based independent bookstore with multiple locations across the Front Range). For authors publishing and distributing their books through a third party, we will be working with the Tattered Cover to ensure that they have a robust supply of all of your titles that are in print. For those who self publish, you are welcome to sell your books at the Presenter’s Table independently. If you do not want the Tattered Cover to sell your books at the show, please just let us know.
If you are interested in presenting in the Speaker’s Theater, please submit your information and a topic(s) in the form.
It was from our desire to better educate the Front Range Angler that we first added fly tyers to the Fly Fishing Rendezvous in 2015, and the Fly Tyer Row and Theater has today become one of the core attractions of the show. We want to have tyers join us who share our passion for engaging anglers of all levels and helping them to advance their skills on the vice.
If you would like to join us and tie at the 2019 Fly Fishing Rendezvous on May 4th & 5th, please fill out the application below.
