“Joe Butler is the company. Fishing guide and instructor in the state of Colorado for the past 30 years. Licensed guide in the state of New York hosting annual Fall trips for giant brown trout in the Lake Ontario Tributaries. Currently Joe hosts guided fishing trips in Colorado, Wyoming, Alaska and New York.
Teaches fly-casting, fly tying and several clinics/programs throughout the year.
Owner of Joe Butler Flies, Inc. for 16 years distributing fly fishing products all over the U.S.
Owned and operated Joe Butler’s All Tackle Fishing Store in Westminster, CO for 7 years.
Records:
Held the world record brown trout caught on a fly rod from 1977 – 1998. Weighed 27lb, 3oz caught on fly rod with 8lb test line.
World Record Kokanee Salmon caught on a fly
Catch and Release October 20, 2000. 27lb Coho Salmon from Oak Orchard Creek, NY. At time fly rod world record was 21 lbs.
